Our Team
Emily Smith is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Owner at our agency, where she actively provides therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Emily is passionate about helping young people build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen their relationships within families, schools, and communities.
She utilizes a range of evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—and tailors interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Emily is also expanding her clinical expertise and is currently pursuing specialized training in play therapy to better support younger children through developmentally appropriate, play-based approaches.
As Owner, Emily provides leadership to the agency’s mental health programs, supports staff development, and ensures high-quality, ethical, and trauma-informed care across services. She is committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and client-centered environment for both clients and clinicians.

Angela Tinsley is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Owner at our agency, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to adolescents and adults. With a strong focus on trauma treatment, Angela is dedicated to helping clients process difficult experiences, build emotional stability, and move toward meaningful healing.
Angela utilizes a variety of effective therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—and integrates these approaches based on each client’s goals and strengths. She is also formally trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused intervention that helps clients achieve rapid relief from distressing memories and symptoms.
As Owner, Angela plays a key role in overseeing clinical programming, supporting staff development, and ensuring that services are delivered with the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and trauma-informed care. She is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where clients and clinicians can grow.

Charlene Hertzberg, LCSW
Charlene Hertzberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who brings extensive experience supporting children, adults, and families impacted by trauma. Charlene has been practicing as a therapist since 2021 and previously held several mental health–focused roles that strengthened her clinical foundation and passion for helping others.
Charlene earned her Master of Social Work degree from Northwest Nazarene University, graduating with honors. She completed her undergraduate studies at California State University San Bernardino. She is certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy, is a TBRI® Practitioner, and is currently finalizing requirements to become a Registered Play Therapist.
Charlene is a strengths-based, person-centered therapist who specializes in working with individuals with a history of trauma. When working with adults, she integrates evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In her work with children, Charlene utilizes developmentally appropriate play therapy approaches and incorporates tools from EMDR, IFS, TraumaPlay, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Child-Centered Play Therapy.
She has a particular passion for working with foster and adoptive children and families, drawing on both extensive training and personal experience to support the unique needs of these relationships.
Charlene’s favorite part of being a therapist is the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families as they heal, grow, and discover their own resilience and strengths.
Chelsea McDonald, Case Manager
Chelsea is a dedicated Mental Health Case Manager who provides compassionate, client-centered support to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. She is committed to helping clients access the resources, services, and skills they need to build stability, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Chelsea works collaboratively with clients to identify goals, coordinate care, and advocate for the services that best support their unique needs. She assists with connecting clients to community resources, enhancing daily living skills, and strengthening support systems through consistent follow-up and solution-focused guidance.
Known for her empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills, Chelsea strives to empower each client to take meaningful steps toward growth and self-sufficiency. She values building trusting relationships and approaches her work with patience, professionalism, and respect.
